AEE Vice-President elected vice-chairman of the Wholesale Electricity Market (WEM) Council

AEE Vice-President, acting General Director of PJSC “Khmelnytskoblenergo” Oleg Kozachuk, was elected to the Council of the Wholesale Electricity Market (WEM) of Ukraine from the supplier side at the annual General Meeting of the Members of the Council. The WEM Board, in its turn, is the executive body between the general meeting of WEM participants. In general, the WEM Board consists of ten voting directors – five from the side of producers and the side of suppliers.

In accordance with the Agreement, the WEM Council fulfills a general supervision over the work of SE “Energorynok”, the system for ensuring the functioning of WEM, regulates relations at the Wholesale Market and defines the main economic, financial bases and mechanisms of its functioning as well as contributes to the reliable operation of the united power grid of Ukraine.
