Achievements of the Government in the field of energy and utilities in 2017

Major achievements of the Government in the field of energy and utilities in 2017 in figures:
Energy:
The basic document of the energy policy of Ukraine for the long-term perspective has been approved.
The process of introduction of a new model of the Ukrainian electricity market has begun.
The realization of the project of construction of the Centralized storage of spent nuclear fuel has begun.
Pilot projects for the replacement of scarce anthracite coal have been implemented.
The Concept of reforming and development of the coal industry for the period until 2020 is approved.
Electricity production increased by 1.1%.
Electricity exports increased by 34.4%.
Natural gas production increased by 3.9%.
The volume of gas transit increased by 15.9%.
The volume of gas pumping into underground storage facilities increased by 43.2%.

Housing:
An increase by 4,2% of the area of multi-apartment housing in the management of ACMHs from the total area of multi-apartment buildings.
The percentage of multi-apartment buildings, managed by executives, elected as co-owners of the house increased by 8.5%.
The number of cities in which separate  waste management is being implemented has increased from 575 to 761.

The number of solar power plants of private households increased by 319%.
Percentage of equipping of heat energy metering devices with apartment buildings increased by 10.4%.
The number of landfills, on which the system of biogas sequestration was arranged increased from 7 units up to 13.
Renewable energy facilities operating at the “green” tariff  increased their capacity by 362%.
Debt for heat consuming enterprises for consumed natural gas decreased by 23%.
The volume of attracted investments in renewable electricity was 219 million EUR (317% more than in 2016).
160 thousand households have taken advantage of “warm loans”.
